Abstract

This study aims to shed light on the role of international organizations in
promoting a culture of citizenship, as international bodies operating in the
international environment. They aim to regulate international interactions and
control international behavior through a set of rules and standards of behavior
that regulate the affairs of the international community. This is represented
through decisions and recommendations issued by the organs of international
organizations, as well as the rules, principles and objectives contained in their
charters, as well as declarations, conferences and international agreements as
means to achieve the goal of international peace and security and to spread
them at the global level. It is the role played by the specialized agencies
associated with the United Nations, especially the Educational, Scientific and
Cultural Organization (UNESCO), which, through its principles and objectives,
as well as international conventions, declarations and conferences, aim to
promote a culture of citizenship by consolidating a culture of dialogue by
addressing human minds in a way that contributes to cementing a culture of
dialogue and peace and tolerance in a way that contributes to building
democratic systems at the global level.
