Abstract

Tracking the evolution of election results and the formation of Israeli governments, it will be so evident to realize the vital role played by the religious element in the Israeli political process. This role coincided with the inputs that led to the rise of the shares of the parties of the national right-wing and religious right-wing parties. The indicators show a clear shift in the characteristics of the elite that dominate the political life in Israel, which has been represented by the national right, the leaders of eastern Jews, the religious powers and, in particular, Orthodox and radical ultra-Orthodox tendencies. As such a clear role played along with the various compositions will pose a hazard upon the future of the occupied Palestinian territory, Islamic sanctities, and the rights of the Palestinian people, which is clear out of their programs and ideological directions.
