Abstract

In this research, we address a vital topic related to the extent to
which the new media contributes to the promotion of human rights,
especially in light of the spread of media outlets, which now present
downward models that carry many abuses of human beings, their
personal freedom, and their rights to live and live a safe life away
from interference. Our goal is to stand on:
- The extent to which the media plays its independent role in the
field of human rights.
- The mutual influence between new media and human rights.
- Identify the most important Iraqi legislation in the field of new
media.
- The role of new media in promoting respect for human rights and
promoting human development.
