Abstract

This study aims to identify the concept of protest movements as a social phenomenon that has significance and dimensions in the Arab world, especially after 2010, by analyzingthe role of some social movements in Arab countries, which created a new type at the political and social levels, by invoking the protest balance for them. , which led to the dissemination and promotion of a culture of peace, and the consolidation of the concept of peaceful demonstration, and helped create a new type of organized opposition, and the youth segment was at the forefront of the groups demanding change, and driving it, because it is the most affected, and even the most capable of communication and movement, used in that Social media as one of the modern means of expressing theiropinions in order to achieve stability, spread peace and create a better future for them.
