Abstract

In mid-March 2011, Syria entered a turning point when many protests began to gradually escalate in some Syrian cities to demand the release of political freedoms, the release of detainees from prisons and to lifting the state of emergency, and then it took an escalating turn, the volume of demands increased until it reached out to demand a complete change of the Syrian political system، Since the outbreak of the protest movements, Syria has become part of the Rolling events of the so-called Arab Spring that have reached it, and thus Syria has returned to the scene of conflict and regional rivalry, as well as the influence of the calculations of major powers and their support for regional powers and ditching within the policy of regional axes، Syria has an important geographical location, as well as Syria has strong alliances with countries in the region, including Iran, whose relationship with this document is on the one hand and on the other hand neighboring Turkey, which has regional ambitions, making Syria an arena for conflict and the main regional competition for influence in the region.
