Alternative means of settling disputes arising from satellite leases

Abstract

Satellite lease contracts have become one of the international contracts widely circulated and spread among various countries of the world because of the great services provided by these contracts to countries that do not have financial or technical capabilities to own satellites. Since these contracts are made between international parties, countries or companies, dispute may be arised from these Contracts. Therefore, these countries or companies avoid resorting to the regular judiciary due to the slow procedures of litigation and the high costs, which leads the parties to resort to amicable means to expel those disputes away from the regular court, in order to save time and costs.
