Penalties of environmental pollution crimes in Iraqi legislation

Abstract

The world has witnessed amazing progress in all areas of life. This made us think about the damages resulting from the amazing progress that has a negative impact on human beings and living creatures. The damage also affacted the environment in which they live, which faced negative effects on human life alike due to pollution. This attracted the legislator’s attention recently who began legislating environmental laws, which achieves through their application on humans and the environment by imposing penalties on those who assault them.
