Precedence diplomatic niceties of international relations

Abstract

Diplomacy is regarded as a significant tool for managing the
international relations. Accordingly, the diplomatic activities must be
characterized by stabile and respectable principles in order to make
this tool more effective and successful. Precedency and diplomatic
compliments are among the principles needed for an influential
diplomacy .
The aim of this research is to deal with the role of these
principles in the diplomatic relations amongst the world’s states.
The research assumes that the principles of precedency and
diplomatic compliments are related to the national pride and dignity.
That is why, following these principles could ensure a mutual respect
among the states, and increase their cooperation. In contrast, the
violation of these principles could lead to dislike and inactive
relationships among them.
