Authors responsibility

Research Reporting Standards

Authors are required to submit original, clear, and well-structured scholarly manuscripts in accordance with the publication policy and author guidelines of the Journal of Legal and Political Sciences. The manuscript should include a clear objective, an appropriate methodology, an accurate and coherent presentation of results, and a sound scholarly discussion that contributes to achieving the research objectives and demonstrating its scientific contribution.

The data, information, and findings presented in the manuscript must be accurate and verifiable, and should be supported by relevant and up-to-date scholarly, legal, and political sources whenever possible. The submission of fabricated, falsified, plagiarized, or partially copied results from other works is considered unethical and unacceptable and may subject the authors to editorial and legal procedures in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Originality and Plagiarism

Authors are fully responsible for the originality of the manuscript submitted to the journal and for ensuring that it is free from plagiarism, undocumented quotation, or reuse of previously published texts, data, or findings without proper acknowledgment. Authors must comply with the journal’s plagiarism and similarity policy and submit any declarations or undertakings required by the journal in this regard.

Multiple or Simultaneous Publication

Authors must not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal or publisher at the same time. They must also not submit a manuscript that has been previously published, either fully or partially, or republish it in a form that does not provide a clear scholarly contribution, unless this is explicitly disclosed and does not violate the journal’s policies or publication ethics.

If simultaneous submission, duplicate publication, or redundant publication is proven, the journal reserves the right to take appropriate action, including rejecting the manuscript, retracting the published article, or informing relevant bodies when necessary.

Authorship and Order of Authors

Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made a real and substantial scholarly contribution to the conception of the research, its design, data collection, analysis, interpretation of results, writing, or scientific revision. Individuals who did not contribute substantially to the research must not be listed as authors, and no person who made a significant scholarly contribution should be excluded.

All authors must approve the final version submitted for publication, the order of authorship, and the designation of the corresponding author who will communicate with the journal on behalf of all authors. All authors share responsibility for the scientific and ethical accuracy of the manuscript.

Disclosure and Conflict of Interest

Authors must disclose any potential conflict of interest that may influence the results or interpretation of the research, whether financial, professional, institutional, or personal. Authors must also disclose all sources of funding, support, or sponsorship received for the research, if any, and state the role of the funding body in the study design, data collection, analysis, manuscript writing, or decision to submit the work for publication.

Ethical and Official Approvals

If the research includes field data, interviews, questionnaires, or information related to individuals or institutions, authors must obtain the necessary ethical or official approvals and comply with confidentiality requirements, participants’ rights, and the applicable laws and regulations in the country where the study was conducted.

Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools

Authors must disclose the use of generative artificial intelligence tools, if any, in preparing the manuscript, such as for language editing, improving wording, translation, or organizing ideas. Artificial intelligence tools must not be listed as authors or co-authors, because authorship requires scientific, ethical, and legal responsibility that such tools cannot assume.

Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy of the text, the validity of information, the correctness of references, the originality of the content, and the absence of errors, fabricated references, or unreliable information resulting from the use of such tools.

Significant Errors in Published Works

If authors discover a significant error or inaccuracy in their published work, they must promptly notify the Editorial Board and cooperate with the journal to take the appropriate action, whether by publishing a correction, clarification, or retracting the article if the error substantially affects the reliability of the research or its findings.

Authors are also required to cooperate with the Editorial Board in the event of any inquiry or complaint related to the originality of the manuscript, the accuracy of its data, the correctness of its documentation, or its compliance with publication ethics.
